O MIE DE ANI... - A THOUSAND YEARS

Posted on miercuri, septembrie 14, 2016 | 0 comentarii

"inima bate repede

prin fiecare ceas, prin fiecare respiraţie, am ajuns aici

timpul a adus inima ta spre mine

timpul a adus inima ta spre mine

the elegance, the refinement of this white lace... white on white... white in white... finesse at its best...
I find this fascinating, even touching, this beauty found in such a modest house, in the home of modest peasants...
their life is their work... work is their life... hard work, tough work...
but

their clean eyes want to touch these beauties...
their heart needs the gentleness of these small, simple, modest, superb treasures...

m-am stins...
am murit...
aşteptându-te...

I extinguished myself...
I died...
waiting for you...

viaţa mea...
fiinţa mea...

my life...
my being...

2015 - AL ŞASELEA AN... - 2015 - THE SIXTH YEAR...

Posted on sâmbătă, ianuarie 02, 2016 | 0 comentarii

la Sibiu am încheiat anul acesta, s-a făcut recepţia finală: secţia de neurochirurgie cu cele două săli de operaţii funcţionează impecabil;

on the occasion of the passage between 2009 and 2010, there was a major change inside me... or a great inner re-discover... a shift was made... a huge reset happened in me...

2015 is the sixth year of my new perspective...
looking back, after the 2010 explosion and effervescence, with 91 folders with pictures (every folder is a shooting session, or an entire shooting day, with 3 to 300 pictures each), I came down low to 22 folders in 2013, and afterwards a constant grow, until 77 folders in 2015... these are only figures, but behind them is a year with more photos...

four years I constantly had to go to Sibiu; for more than a year, the Simeria destination is the new task ...
this year I finished the Sibiu job, the hospital section is completed and it works perfect;
Simeria is now on turn, and my GPS will repeat off the book the Baia Mare - Simeria track, for at least five years...

in this context, why those trips to be only run and fatigue?
many times I didn't even have a coffee on my Sibiu journeys!
last year I started to take a break, to have a stopover, to see places...
I didn't make it on my every journey, but I enjoyed some beautiful places, special places, more or less known...

"come away with me in the night
come away with me
and I will write you a song
come away with me on a bus
come away where they can't tempt us with their lies

I want to walk with you
on a cloudy day
in fields where the yellow grass grows knee-high
so, won't you try to come?

come away with me and we'll kiss
on a mountaintop
come awy with me
and I'll never stop loving you

and I want to wake up in the rain
falling on a tin roof
while I'm safe there in your arms
so all I ask is for you
to come away with me in the night
come away with me"

until now, I visited places from southern Transylvania, places that enchant everyone, and so much more an architect...
I also want to reconsider places near my home, those that are less known and less notorious...

in some places I stopped only for half an hour... on most cases, I didn't stay more than two hours...
it's obvious that, in every location, it worths hanging around for much more time... to breathe for a few days the spirit and the mistery, the ensemble and the details... in all the seasons...

UN CIOB... - ONE PIECE...

Posted on luni, august 10, 2015 | 0 comentarii

in a mirror, you can see the whole world... you can look to the entire universe by a mirror...
break the mirror into pieces, and in the smallest cut, again you will see the entire universe...
it's fascinating how, no matter how small the mirror you make, it will stubbornly show...
the universe...
in all his greatness...

not long ago, I found (one more) a place, like that little, very little piece of mirror...
in a remote place, away from traffic, away from the crowd, I found a little home, a place, that has in it, in its inner substance, the nature of the country and the nation...
this little cut, modest, isolated, it reveals the history, the destiny of an entire nation...
As I turn back for so many years to the "nest", I want to return to this place...

I had a guess, and these garments confirmed it to me: "j'adore st tropez", "paris"...
it's obvious, it's an old house, children or grandchildren are gone far away, in France...

far away, far from fussiness, from the daily rush...
here, at end of the road, at the edge of destiny, people are on their own...
the road is finally done!...
but nobody bothered to updat the traffic signs... not even to take away those very old, completely washed-out...
what's the profit for doing that? who is to guide? who passes by this place, except the natives living here?
nobody else passes here...
only time goes by, in silence... and he is not in a hurry... he is patient...

same as the people, the place is poor, modest...
but the sign of faith is not missing...
here is a spot with real urban planning value, that shows a special effort: as a concept, as a construction, and financial effort...
a little care and maintenance would make this a very beautiful stopover...

as long as there is signal for the mobile phone, and a satellite dish, doesn't matter that, in many ways, the life and the work of these people is like one hundred years ago...

CHIP DE ŢARĂ... - PORTRAIT OF A COUNTRY...

Posted on duminică, iulie 26, 2015 | 0 comentarii

the spirit of a country is shown in many places, in many things...
a portrait of a country could be shaped in lots of images...

I found one more place that can be representative for this country and its people...
I found this simple, modest place...
in this gentle place, I felt all the greatness of the spirit, of the romanian destiny...

this is the first image I show to you...
I'll be back, as often as possible, during all seasons...
I bet I'll get beautiful, more expressive images, all year round...

:)))

something funny happened when I shot te picture...
i was sitting with my camera by my eye, following the wagon coming closer... i was in their sight by far...
after the get closer, a voice asks me:
- Sir, where do you send the photo?
I smile, I'm a little confused... finally, I simply answer:
- I don't send it nowhere...
they already surpassed me... one of the women turns towards me, and asks me loudly:
- do you put it on fisbuk?
she socked me...
- mm... ye... YES! I put it on facebook!
:)))

ARCHITA, NU TE-AM UITAT... - ARCHITA, I DIDN'T FORGET YOU

Posted on duminică, aprilie 19, 2015 | 0 comentarii

I didn't forget...
a lifetime had passed by, but I didn't forget...
you remained like an untouchable breeze...
that even the fingers cannot reach...

... but look, I stopped

I came from far away...

and I touched you

and took your perfume into me...

during my six university years, I travelled from my hometown to Bucharest, every month...
I used to use the night train, to arrive at the destination in early mornings... but the day train route was more beautiful to admire...
I noticed a place, a remote village, far from any other settlement, surrounded by forested hills
few days ago, I had the ambition to cover the 11kilometers of bumpy gravelled road, to get there, to see the place that I only waved my hand to, from the running train...
