DORUL MUNȚILOR VEȘNICI... - DESIRE OF THE EVERLASTING HILLS...

cine a îmbrățișat munții într-o rugăciune?

usually, the prayers are composed centuries ago...
usually, they are lines less luminous, clamped in a restrained expressiveness...

in one single place, one single line is different from all the others, from any other prayer...
I liked it, I opened, I even did smile, when I heard this line:
„heart of Jesus, desire of the everlasting hills”

among abode of justice, burning furnace of charity, abyss of all virtues, propitation of sins, victim of our sins, and many, many other descriptions, out of the blue, unlike any other place, in the litany dedicated to the heart of Jesus, she is the „desire of the everlasting hills”

the romanian text is even more expressive, and it is something like „the longing for the everlasting mountains”

for decades I smile and wonder,
who got the idea?
who embraced the mountains in a prayer?
