nu demult am oprit, pentru prima dată, la Slimnic... cu siguranţă că am să mai revin, să mai zăbovesc în acest loc; sunt multe cetăţi săseşti în sudul Transilvaniei, sunt absolut superbe, unele chiar păstrate bine...

aici, la Slimnic, m-a impresionat şi mă urmăreşte ceea ce am găsit despre acest loc: cetatea "a fost construită în jurul unei biserici gotice, niciodată finalizată"...

încerc să îmi imaginez vremurile prospere, luminoase, când s-a imaginat proiectul, s-au conturat detaliile, s-a început şantierul...

înseamnă că existau speranţe, vise de implinire... vise de dragoste şi zbor...

dar vremurile, au spulberat totul... a rămas doar un vis... visul neîmplinit... zborul neînceput...

not a long time ago, I stopped at Slimnic for the first time... I'll go back there to hang around there, that's for sure; there are many castles in southern Transylvania, they are absolutely beautiful, some of them in a good state...

what I found about this place impressed me, and even is haunting me: "the castle was built around a gothic church that was never completed"...

I try to imagine those good old flourishing and luminous days, when the church was designed, when details were decided, and they started to build it...

there had to be hope, dreams of fulfillment, dreams of love and flying...

but the hard times scattered all to the winds... only the dream remained... an unfulfilled dream... an unburn flight...
